Dr. Brad Homan, Medical Director of Sports Medicine and Chief of Surgery at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, is uniquely trained in treating athletes of all ages. Dr. Homan, a native of Florida, attended Nova Southeastern University Medical School.  He completed his internship and orthopedic residency at Ohio University, where he was made Clinical Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery. He then completed his postgraduate fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Homan has extensive experience in shoulder and knee arthroscopic procedures including all-arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, anterior cruciate ligament/knee ligament reconstruction and meniscus surgery.  He is also trained in arthroscopy of the wrist, elbow, ankle and hip.  Dr. Homan has helped develop and is closely involved with the sports medicine program in the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department at Florida Hospital Celebration Health.

Dr. Homan has experience in the treatment of professional, collegiate, high school and recreational athletes. He is the team physician for several area high schools and is the primary orthopedic provider for the Walt Disney World Marathon, Triathlon, 15K run, In-line Marathon and FUNAI Classic golf tournament.  Dr. Homan is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine.
